Oupa's quilt

When my grandfather, Oupa Piet, passed away a few years ago I asked for all his ties (and I think all the men in the family were secretly relieved that I wanted them...)

So with the guidance of my lappies-guru, Ronel, I got started on this crazy log cabin quilt. It is a smallish 1x1meter wall quilt. It took a while but it is finally done and I love it! And so does my mom so I'll have to guard it with all I've got!!!
